Scott opened Scott’s Garage in October 2016 with his ideals of maintaining constant dedication to quality, maximized accuracy, and ensuring jobs are completed correctly the first time. With over 30 years of experience, he is committed to customers; making their trust and safety his top priority. He is an expert in diagnostics and up to date on the most current diagnostic equipment offered. Scott is task-oriented and has a tremendous work ethic. He prides himself on his quality workmanship.
Traveling and Drag Racing are two of Scott’s loves. He has a Dodge Hellcat Redeye and enjoys the chance to race it at the track. Tropical places are Scott’s top choices to venture to, but he is also compelled to seek out different place throughout the US and North America to enjoy. Traveling and Racing are often family endeavors that his two sons and wife delight in as well.
Scott’s Garage office manager, Wendy Bean, is Scott’s wife of over 26 years. She not only answers the phone; she orders the parts, creates the repair orders, invoices the customers and keeps everything running smoothly with the help of her Yorkie Poo, Otis. Although her background is in Elementary Education, her 22 years of teaching has proven helpful in being flexible and learning her duties at her family business. With over 40 years of experience, Rick Tyre is highly skilled and dependable. A life-long resident of Boone County, Rick has an Electrical Engineering Degree from Vincennes University. He has hands-on experience with excellent training to perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on domestic and imported automobiles and trucks. Rick has strong problem-solving skills, is detail oriented and is committed to top-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. He is a Master Certified Specialist, ASE & HVAC Certified from Chrysler. Electrical work is Rick’s specialty
After graduating from High School in 2018, Riley attended Ball State University and Ivy Tech. He followed in his father footsteps for his love of cars. Riley began working part-time at Scott’s Garage in 2018 and is now a full-time technician. From oil changes and brakes to tires and alignments, Riley is ready to be of service. Being computer savvy, Riley can diagnose codes and provide customers with accurate diagnostic information.
After graduating High School in 2021, Reed enrolled at Ivy Tech to get his general education degree. He is going to be studying Marketing at the Kelley School of Business at IUI. Reed’s love of cars stems from his father. Using the knowledge gained from schooling he has helped Scott’s Garage’s social media pages by growing our online presence and influence.
Brent “Bert” French has been in the automotive parts industry almost 30 years, as well as automotive repair and agricultural repairs. A lifelong resident of Boone County, and married to his wife of 45 years Sue, they have 2 grown children, as well as five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. His hobbies include watching most types of racing, traveling, motorcycles, and likes spending time with family.
